If you're new to the Taco Blog, let me break it down to you land-walkers. I am the namesake of Visual Interest's blog, the VI mascot & resident party animal. I am mounted to the gallery wall, where I watch over the comings & goings of this crazy office - because of that, I like to keep my admirers updated on current events via this blog.
VI has gone VIrtual! With COVID-19 changing the way VI, & the industry, have traditionally done business. Of course, my favorite land-walking VIers put their thinking sombreros on & quickly found ways to adapt.
Sparklab Madness was ready for tip off! All the players were in place & then…VI had to cancel it. It was a sad day for me, as Sparklab is my moment to shine - I get to see all my party-peeps in one day! We were fish in troubled waters with our iconic tradeshow. However, this circumstance gave my VIers the opportunity to innovate.
That is when Virtual Sparklab was born. Can’t invite clients over to Brighton Blvd. for our all-day-party-game-themed-micro-tradeshow? Ok, bring Sparklab to THEM!
Our incredible manufacturers promptly provided product & company videos, quizzes were made & the page was up. Sparklab players grabbed a 6-pack & an Easy Mac, hopped online, played, learned & won! All you had to do was watch five manufacturer videos, complete their pop quiz, then you'd win a gift card that supports a local Colorado restaurant.
Let me set the scene, one many of us will find familiar. Cities & countries go into stay-at-home orders & adopt social distancing measures, in the blink of an eye, the way we’ve always done business is temporarily suspended. Suddenly, you have hundreds of emails in your inbox about webinars, online happy hours, adjusted business operations & company safety measures.
Enter the VIrtual Library. Instead of my land-walkers forwarding along every single email from every manufacturer with their new product webinar schedule, we are placing them all in one place for you to browse at your leisure.
