JOB SUMMARY

The Bid Support position plays a key role in assisting the VI Sales Team by helping identify the most effective solutions to meet client needs. This role demands flexibility, whether it's creating lighting layouts, delivering samples to a client's office, or providing budget pricing—this position offers a variety of tasks.

Salary Range: $65-$85k

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Product Knowledge for design applications.

  • Produce lighting layouts, photometric calculations, and cutsheet packages as required for clients.

  • Assist Sales with bill of materials and budget pricing.

  • Attend meetings and conference calls with VI Sales, clients and manufacturers.

  • Respond quickly to all emails and calls.

  • Manage and meet deadlines for incoming requests.

KEY SKILLS

  • Outgoing personality and a strong team player.

  • Strong social, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong lighting design background.

  • Independent and Resourceful.

  • Manage stress levels in order to maintain a positive work environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent vocational training.

  • 3-5 Years’ experience in lighting/electrical industry preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Bluebeam, AGI32 and AutoCAD software experience required.

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with internal departments in a clear and timely manner
